If it's the Sony sensor they mentioned, it's the same as the Xperia Arc. It's a decent upgrade from the current camera. Here's a webpage comparing the iPhone 4's camera to the Xperia Arc's camera. (And two others)

I don’t know if Apple systems take takes this into account for stock distribution, but LS would be one of the last places I’d expect to find an AT&T/GSM based iPad, given the US Headquarters for AT&T Mobility 1500 feet from the mall.
There are other stores, I like the one in North Point. Not too big and not the snobbery found at LS, IMHO. However, if you don’t have a car, I guess its kind of moot.
So Walmart is full of obese hillbillies?
I bought my iPad 2 at Walmart: 7 folks in line, 15 iPad 2's. Everyone was very nice. Im a 24yr old 6'2'', 190lb Systems engineer(with all my teeth)...and I shop there all the time. Dont hate...

ETA: Deleted my first post, as there is now an updated Apple link. :p
I'll have to check my iBook tonight, to see if I have one of the batteries. I'm guessing I do; I purchased my iBook in February and am still using the original battery. Oh well; it was ready for a new battery, anyway.

CBS News made a point of announcing this recall on their Evening News show tonight. :) Blammed Sony for making bad batteries Dell also had to recall earlier this month. :D
BBC also participated in announcing the recall as well. More Images from BBC Coming. Show mobile Macs on Fire. "This comes hot on the heels of Dell's announcement last week," she says deadpan seriously. :D Sony says this recall may cost them up to $250 Million.
Showing Dell melted battery and laptop images as well and saying laptop makers may suffer negative image as well. Dell's stock price has dropped another 10% since thier recall began. She tags with regarding Apple's situation: "an announcement like this is taking a bite out of its reputation."
Enjoy the Desktops.

A crap camera will never take a great picture, despite the hands it is in. It might take something vaguely enigmatic on some level, but with bad lens, inability to capture colors, or faulty mechanics/electronic, it will be nothing more than a crippling piece of equipment.
A good photographer can frame, layer, focus the subject, and compose well. Yes, you don't need a "good" camera for those qualities, but you need a well-creafted camera to back up and improve on the photographer's skills.
Sorry to say, but your are mistaken. People have been taking phenomenal photos without the cameras sold today. Cameras of yesterday were not as accurate nor precise as they are today, yet incredible photos have been taken for quite some time. How is that?

Well, the keynote had me there for a second with the whole “52% smaller” thing ;) but now that it has been clarified, I still think this is a solid update for the nanos – lower prices, higher capacities, more colors, 24 hour battery life – it’s all good.

Good catch. Guess I would have found it too if I had seen the original picture. Where can I find the original picture of that?
the image was in philA's post...the one I was replying to.

You have to use a Mac running XCode to set the IPad in development mode to enable gesture support.

You are still not getting it. It does cost a fraction to build things outside the US.
Ohhh, I get it. Trust me. But there's more to "it" than just a 3-paragraph overview of the entire way the US decides to do business. I think a high percentage of Americans will agree that the business models (taxes, outsourcing, low US manufacturing, unions, wages, health benefits, etc) are basically killing our way of life.
Maybe in 10-15 years the US will finally realize how much damage has been done and will start to get back in shape.

It's really amazing to see here people justifying the price of Windows Vista, when not even corporations think about migrating to the "new" OS in 2-years time...Vista is just a rehashed NT, and no company will need it in the short term.

Got my Black nano by UPS this morning, it is really really nice. Here are two pics (I don't think there have been any user black nano pictures so far):

I have been wondering what the Black Aluminum would look like. Looks great!

Ah good to see that it's not worth upgrading my Core Duo MB to the new one, I think the speed increase wil lbe negligble (comparing a 1.83Ghz CD with 1.83C2D)
I think that's right, for the most part.
Those Core Duo MB owners might consider a hardrive upgrade, to a 7200rpm drive, for a nice speedbump.

Ah well, Apple'll probably make back up the cost of that iPad through the apps that guy will buy in the app store on his iPad and on his Mac.

Wonderful composition! I really like how you choose to freeze the water as opposed to showing it flow. The reflected light, the symmetry - all great stuff.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Question one. No, I'm not saying whites are as likely to commit a gun crime. I have no idea if that is true or not.

I've been noticing my phone has been draining the battery rather quickly. Hopefully this fixes it.
